This week’s blog was to learn how to use the Kent Library to
research; this lesson was a repeat of my UI 100 class. After using search path
I realized just how easy the Kent Library was to use, it’s a hidden treasure. I plan to try and use the library before using
Google. I’ll probably have to review the
tutorials a few more times before getting used to using it, but like all other
things….it’s a work in progress.

ReplyDeleteAfter watching Mr. Sentell's video on how to use Kent Library, I also realized that it is easier then it looks. I tried using it for a previous assignment and I did not have any luck. I usually always refer to Google for anything. I agree it will take some practice to get use to Kent library but think it will be very useful.
Sarah, It's great that you have found the ease of using the Kent library for finding information. It is important to remember that search engines may provide us with material by the thousands but not all that information has been guaranteed academic in nature or peer reviewed. In great likelihood our professors will not accept Wiki anything as provided accredited information. Keep up the good work!
